My weekly journal 4 (Week 5)

The week of four—our started with teacher present us by comment and description about blog (How to do a good blog etc.). Teacher teaches about positioning and branding of production. First on this she takes an apple phone product out to show about brand of it. She told the strange of an apple phone in the market are high and modern technology point. And she teaches with position and branding strategy of production goes on.
I just remembered all of knowledge that kept in class by below…………..
Product positioning;
In marketing strategy, positioning is a one tool of it. Positioning mean the process by which marketers try to create an image or identity in the minds of their target market for its product, brand, or organization.
More than that I learn it’s out of class too. There are Re-positioning and De-positioning.
Re-positioning; changing the identity of a product and relative to the identity of competing products in the collective minds of the target market.
De-positioning; attempting to change the identity of competing products, relative to the identity of your own product in the collective minds of the target market.

Product branding;
Many professional businessmen give several meaning of branding of production by below.
- (Philip Kotler and Gary Armstrong) a brand is defined as a name, term, sign symbol or a combination of these, and identify the maker or seller of the product.
